Even full-timers need a little R&R. We've escaped from Austin and unfinished business to one of our Texas faves. We're on island time for the time being.
We're spending a few days at Red Hawk Ranch to help friends celebrate their wedding. Our coach has a nice spot overlooking Roy Creek.
It's been about a year since our last Austin visit, and we are looking forward to seeing family & friends, along with the intention to address unfinished business. Damn storeroom!
Left the Guads and landed at another Harvest Hosts. This time Eola School Restaurant & Brewery. Interesting stop.
Is it any surprise we ended up at the Guads — Guadalupe Mountains NP. We were planning on surprising our friends that were gathering here, but I think they were on to us.

We're back on the road again after a seven-week layover in Austin, TX. Feels Good.
We certainly enjoyed our seven weeks in Austin. It was enjoyable visiting with our family & friends, dining out at new places & old faves, and driveway surfing.
It's really nice to have friends and family in Austin that have generously offered to park our RV in their driveway.
*Landed for a week out near Lake Travis, just north of Austin. It appears to be a nice RV Park, and it a short drive into the city.*

After thirteen plus months on the road, we have returned to Austin for a visit.
We settled in for a week with family at Lake Whitney.
During our stay at Fort Griffin, we were treated to a nice snowfall. Unfortunately, because of this, the main ground was closed.
