Fort Griffin State Historic Park Campground, Texas

During our stay at Fort Griffin, we were treated to a nice snowfall. Unfortunately, because of this, the main ground was closed.

Overall Experience: smile

We found a good site in the campground at Fort Griffin State Historic Park near Albany, TX. We literally had our choice of sites as there was only one other RV in the campground. Our site had its own wooden stairs down to the Clear Fork of the Brazos. We were treated with a blanket of snow during our stay, but unfortunately, this caused the historic grounds to close during this period so that we couldn't explore.

On the Fort grounds is a bobcat family that moved into one of the historic buildings. We weren't fortunate enough to get to see them. Check out the video.
