"After a short drive from West Yellowstone, MT, we decided to spend a couple of nights in Pocatello, to see friends. Looking forward to visiting with them & exploring the area."
We needed a spot for just one night & decided to stop at Cracker Barrel. They had 5 RV spots in a pleasant setting. Plus, the next morning, we had a delicious breakfast.
Found a wonderful campground on Cass Lake. Large private sites with easy access to the lake.
We have a nice boondocking spot near a friend & are thoroughly enjoying all that Ely offers. The Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness has plenty of paddling opportunities.

"Found a rather unique RV Park that's also a marina. Our site overlooks the marina and the famous Ariel Lift Bridge. Across the bay, we have views of downtown Duluth & its hills."
Found a small city-owned RV Park overlooking Chequamegon Bay on Lake Superior. Our streak has continued as we got the last site backing up to the lake. Nice!
The goal for the day was to make it to Michigan. Stopped at Cabela's in Dundee for a free layover. A nice setup here. There's a dump station & potable water fill site for the coach.
We found a great State Park just outside of Ithaca, NY. Lots of waterfalls and hiking opportunities in the area.
"We've moved on and now find ourselves at Dolly Copp campground in the White Mountain National Forest. A huge Forest Service campground with 177 sites - right now, I bet that only a dozen are occupied."
We are Driveway Surfing once again, but this time it is in Portland, ME, with family.

We scored a very nice site overlooking the mountains in Shenandoah National Park. Plan to ride out the Memorial Day Holiday here.

We can’t believe we are already in Mississippi. Settling in for a couple of days before we start up the Natchez Trace Parkway.
We landed at Kincaid Lake campground near Alexandria, LA: Nice spacious sites, a glimpse of Kincaid Lake through the trees, and trail nearby.
*Landed for a week out near Lake Travis, just north of Austin. It appears to be a nice RV Park, and it a short drive into the city.*
Leasburg Dam State Park: Site #31 & #6, these sites have water & electric, dump station nearby, 29 sites, 4,200 foot elevation. February 19th - 25th.
Overall Experience:
We arrived at Leasburg with a three-day reservation because last spring, we couldn't get in without a reservation (we don't like making reservations). We find plenty to do in the area, so we scored one of few first come/first serve sites with water & electricity to extend our stay.

Getting to Klipchuck Campground, just east of North Cascades National Park, early in the day had its advantage: we pretty much had our choice of campsites.
Landed again—this time at an Army Corps of Engineers Campground in Idaho. We started the morning knowing the general direction we were headed but had no idea where we would end up. We got fortunate as only three campsites were left out of the 67 total. First water & electric hookups in five weeks. What a luxury! Since leaving NM, we have been dry camping (water nearby & running the generator) at Forest Service campgrounds. — Riley Creek Campground.
