Campground Notes: flush toilets • showers • dump not station available (repairs pending) • lake access • trails from campground • trails nearby • 1300’ elevation. July 19th - 25th.

The headwaters of the Mississippi River originate in Itasca State Park. The river begins its 2552 mile winding trip as it slowly flows from Lake Itasca and travels to Mexico's Gulf.
