Camping on the Trace tonight at National Park Service’s Jeff Busby Campground, A very nice, small campground that accepts no reservations and is free. You can’t beat that.

Our side trip today was to Vicksburg National Military Park. The stone entrance is a sixteen-mile tour loop of the park's 1330 monuments, markers, tablets, and plaques that parallels Union siege and Confederate defensive lines.
