We're settling in for a relaxing week & a half at Gibson Lake in the UP. What a beautiful setting.

Found a great campsite overlooking the lake at Indian Lake State Park just outside Manistique, MI. Places like this always make the drive worth it.

"Once again, a longer day than we prefer, but it was well worth it. It's a short walk through the campground to the shore of Lake Michigan."
The goal for the day was to make it to Michigan. Stopped at Cabela's in Dundee for a free layover. A nice setup here. There's a dump station & potable water fill site for the coach.
We're spending the night parked at a Harvest Hosts member — Five & 20 Spirits and Brewery. What an interesting concept: a distillery, brewery, and winery all in one.
We found a great State Park just outside of Ithaca, NY. Lots of waterfalls and hiking opportunities in the area.
We found a nice state park on Lake George in the Adirondack Park Preserve. This will be a one-nighter as we are in speed up mode at the moment.
"We've moved on and now find ourselves at Dolly Copp campground in the White Mountain National Forest. A huge Forest Service campground with 177 sites - right now, I bet that only a dozen are occupied."
We are Driveway Surfing once again, but this time it is in Portland, ME, with family.
