Top Photo: Bumpass Hell – The largest hydrothermal area in the park can be accessed by a 3-mile round-trip hike. A boardwalk takes visitors through a bowl of mud pots, pools, and steam vents.

A Forest Service Campground located on Eagle Lake outside Susanville. WE were delighted to find that this campground had hookups! Not common in Forest Service campgrounds.

This well maintained county campground is conveniently located between Carson City & Reno, NV, just off Hwy 395. From the campground, there is a view of Washoe Lake.
