The Baker's Hole Campground is situated in the Custer Gallatin National Forest, approximately 3 miles north of West Yellowstone, Montana. It's a medium-sized campground with 73 campsites, including 33 sites with electrical hookups. The campground is positioned alongside the Madison River, close to Hebgen Lake.

  • Large, flat gravel sites suitable for both RVs and tents
  • Amenities such as picnic tables, fire rings, and vault toilets
  • Hiking trails and access to the Madison River for fishing and water activities

The campground is a popular choice for visitors exploring Yellowstone National Park, thanks to its convenient location just 10 miles from the West Entrance of the park. There are also other attractions nearby like the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center and the Earthquake Lake Visitor Center.

However, it's crucial to be aware that the campground is situated in an area inhabited by bears. Proper food storage and bear precautions are absolutely necessary. Baker's Hole Campground offers a convenient and picturesque camping experience for those visiting West Yellowstone and Yellowstone National Park.
