We had been looking forward to this visiting this area but were somewhat disappointed with the campground. A lot of sites were reserved, but only a few were occupied

Rombo Creek Campground, MT - August 12-13. Site #14 - Forest Service Campground with water nearby. Elevation 4508 ft. 15 total sites.

Overall Experience: Neutral

This site near the north fork of the Bitterroot River was less than spectacular, so we decided to push on to Whitefish/Glacier area. Guess we did not hear enough cats singing yesterday ;-)
