On our first evening, we were treated with a sailboat gliding through the sunset.
We had to go back to Yachats Brewing + Farm Store for dinner. We ordered a crepe with root and seasonal vegetables and Kim Chi. Also a beet latkes sandwich and potatoes. Both were absolutely delicious.
"Backyard of the Day"
Mooch!
Look who has walked into our lives... Mooch! Someone dumped him in the campground a couple of weeks ago. The camp hosts have been trying to find him a good home, and I guess they thought we were easy marks. But we negotiated a good deal: We got Mooch, a weeks plus of packaged cat food, a free night camping, and the choice tomato from their garden. After we decided to keep Mooch, the park host threw in a few more tomatoes and a loaf of freshly baked banana bread. Yum!
