Lodgepole Campground, Utah (2016)

Our sort of day, only 55 miles of driving in which we moved from the desert floor up to the trees again. We're tucked in on a spacious site amongst the aspens and lodgepole pines.

Lodgepole Campground - Forest Service Campground — Ashley National Forest, near Dutch John, UT: Site #28 (35 RV sites total) - This site has: water nearby. Campground Notes: flush toilets • dump station available (fee) • trails nearby • 8,100’ elevation. July 17th - 18th. Miles traveled: 55 (tap on mileage to see route).

Pros:
• Spacious are sites.
• Near Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area.
• Dump station.
Cons:
• Some highway noise.
• Dump station is an extra fee.
