Along this stretch of the Crooked River, nine BLM campgrounds are available, which will accommodate both tent campers and RVs. This area is quite popular with folks fly fishing.

Cobble Rock - BLM Campground, near Prineville: Site #3 (15) RV sites total) - This site has: no hookups or water available. Campground Notes: vault toilets • river access • trail nearby • 2,900’ elevation. April 26 - 30th. Miles traveled: 48.
Pros:
• No Reservations — all sites first come, first serve.
• Some spacious sites.
• Most sites have river access.
Cons:
• No potable water.
• No dump station.

About Cobble Rock Campground
Cobble Rock Campground is a popular camping destination located on the Crooked River in central Oregon. The campground is situated in the Crooked River Wild and Scenic River corridor and offers visitors stunning views of the surrounding canyonlands and access to a wide range of outdoor recreational activities.

Outdoor Activities

The surrounding area offers several hiking trails, including the Crooked River Rim Trail, which offer stunning views of the surrounding canyonlands and the Crooked River.

Nearby Amenities The town of Prineville is located north of the campground and offers a variety of amenities, including restaurants and shops.
