Beverly Beach, Oregon

We had a short drive up the coast to Beverly Beach. This massive State Park campground is tucked in a dense forest. There's easy beach access via a path under the Hwy 101 bridge.

Beverly Beach - State Park Campground, near Newport: Site #F20 (128 RV sites total) - This site has: electric & water hookups. Campground Notes: flush toilets • showers • dump station available • ocean access • trails from campground • 33’ elevation. October 9th - 12th. Miles driven: 27.

Pros:
• Easy access to the beach.
Cons:
• All sites reservable.
• Very poor drainage on some sites (including ours). This a bad thing for a campground that gets a lot of rain for part of the year. Poor maintenance!
Overall Experience: Neutral

Pelican Brewing Company

Pelican Brewing Pelican Brewing has been on our bucket list for some time & we planned on visiting it as we moved up the coast. But we got impatient, so we hopped into the car and figured this was a good excuse for a little auto touring to Pacific City. The brewpub did not disappoint — a very pleasant setting right on the beach.
