Pros:
• Quiet & clean.
• Very friendly & helpful host.
Cons:
• No dump station.
• Slight highway noise – RV sites back up to the highway.Overall Experience:
Site six. Gotta love those trees!

• Side A Brewery, La Grande OR On the day of our first visit (yes, it was that good), we had the daily special of locally gathered and fried Morels mushrooms. Wow!
Located along the banks of the Grande Ronde River in northeast Oregon, the Red Bridge State Wayside is a peaceful retreat from the busy city life. This beautiful state park campground is nestled in the rugged Blue Mountains, offering plenty of outdoor activities for nature lovers.
A Scenic Campground with Various Options
The campground itself has 10 basic walk-in sites and 10 sites that can accommodate self-contained RVs. Here, campers can relax under the shade of tall ponderosa pines while listening to the calming sounds of the river. The sites are well-spaced, providing privacy and a sense of seclusion. Although amenities are limited, vault toilets and drinking water are available for campers' convenience.
Abundance of Outdoor Recreation Opportunities
Aside from camping, there are plenty of things to do at the Red Bridge State Wayside during the day. Visitors can:
- Hike along the picturesque banks of the Grande Ronde River
- Try their luck at fishing for trout and steelhead
- Simply enjoy the breathtaking natural scenery
