Additional Info: Lodgepole Campground is a beautiful campground located in the Ashley National Forest in the Flaming Gorge area of northeastern Utah. The campground is situated in a picturesque setting surrounded by towering pine trees and offers visitors a chance to experience the natural beauty of the area.

The campground features 60 campsites, many of which are suitable for RVs and trailers. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and a fire ring, and drinking water is available at the campground. The campground also has restroom, making it a convenient place to stay for several days.

One of the main attractions of the area is the Flaming Gorge Reservoir, which is known for its crystal-clear waters and excellent fishing. The reservoir is stocked with several species of fish, including rainbow and brown trout, lake trout, and kokanee salmon. Visitors can rent boats or kayaks to explore the reservoir or fish from shore.

The area also offers several hiking and mountain biking trails, including the popular Sheep Creek Geological Loop Trail. This 10-mile trail winds through stunning red rock formations and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
