Our goal for today was to escape from the smoke that was being created by the Pioneer Fire. Sadly, we had to keep moving through some absolutely beautiful areas & nice campgrounds.

French Creek - Forest Service Campground — Boise National Forest, near Cascade, ID: Site #15 (21 RV sites total) - This site has: water nearby. Campground Notes: vault toilets • dump not station available • lake access • tails from campground • trails nearby • 4,850’ elevation. August 1st - 4th. Miles traveled: 184 (tap on mileage to see route).

Overall Experience: neutral

Pros:
• Quiet (during the week — weekends ?).
• Shaded sites.
• Some sites have nice lake views.
Cons:
• Dusty.
• No dump station nearby.
