Breweries & Brewpubs We've Visited

When we first started RVing, it was a real treat to find micro-breweries (a term used back then). Fast forward to today, and it appears that breweries & brewpubs are everywhere. We’re a tad behind logging our visits, but still look forward to finding real breweries/brewpubs (as opposed those extract breweries that don’t really mash).

Who Owns your Favorite Brewery/Brewpub

This is a list we compiled over time. For us, locally owned craft beer is important & we try to avoid brands owned by the "big guys". We feel that the smaller brewers will appreciate our dollars much more than some large corporate marketing department and for the most part the money stays in the community. Large corporations also use their muscle to try to dominate shelf & cooler space in stores, tap handles in bars/restaurants, and control distribution networks, all of which makes it more difficult for the independent breweries to survive.

This list mainly concentrates on craft breweries that were taken over by large multi-national breweries and investment firms, etc. It does not include independent breweries.
