Sometimes, things don’t go as planned. That happened with our fall trips when life turns a curveball. As much as we don’t like reservations, we had a couple in September that we were forced to cancel for medical reasons. When things stabilized a bit, we decided to take a quick trip to the Oregon coast, visiting a few of our favorite campgrounds before winter sets in on the passes.
Our three coastal destinations were:

Exploring the Rugged Beauty of the Southern Oregon Coast in Autumn. As the summer crowds depart and the weather cools, the stretch of the Oregon coast from Waldport to Port Orford transforms into a serene and awe-inspiring destination.
