"Home again... Chilling in Bend. Of all the places we've been, it always feels like coming home when we pull into Bend!"
Update: This post was first published on August 15th when arrived in Bend for our summer visit. We returned on November 1st for the winter.
Even full-timers need a little R&R. We've escaped from Austin and unfinished business to one of our Texas faves. We're on island time for the time being.
"It's like déjà vu all over again." We pulled into the same RV park in Tehachapi, on the same day exactly one year later, and got the same site. How about that?
We found a very pleasant RV Park on Clear Lake which is the largest fresh water lake in CA & one of the oldest natural freshwater lakes in North America.

"Ten months later, we find ourselves back in Bend, OR. We are now officially on vacation for the next couple of months."
"After a short drive from West Yellowstone, MT, we decided to spend a couple of nights in Pocatello, to see friends. Looking forward to visiting with them & exploring the area."

"Found a rather unique RV Park that's also a marina. Our site overlooks the marina, and the famous Ariel Lift Bridge. Across the bay we have views of downtown Duluth & its hills."
Found a small city owned RV Park overlooking Chequamegon Bay on Lake Superior. Our streak has continued as we got the last site backing up to the lake. Nice!
"We went looking for music in the desert and we found it! Sideman Jamboree."
Found a unique RV park that overlooks the runway used for gliders. This 27 site park is very clean and quiet with very few guests. A great find.
"Second stop on the Oregon coast at South Jetty Thousand Trails near Florence. Lots to do & see in the area! Note the vintage RV a couple of sites over tucked in the trees."
Stopover at Whalers Rest. Enjoying the Oregon coast as we work our way south.
