Well we made it to St Clair in Deming, NM – another Harvest Hosts stop. This is our third year to visit and spend the night at this winery — one of our faves.
"We're spending the night at Pillsbury Wine Company at their rustic tasting room & vineyard location just south of Willcox, AZ, thanks to Harvest Host."
We've been wanting to check out this SP. Lots of good hiking. And nearby is the site of the Battle of Picacho Pass, one of several Civil War engagements in the Arizona Territory.
We found a very nice area for dispersed camping. We saw very few campers on this spacious area that offered lots of level space to camp.
"We arrived at our lot in Jojoba Hills to find a Bird of Paradise welcoming us along with an orange and a lemon tree. How cool is that?"
Once again we found ourselves at a campground we enjoyed last spring. Oliver Lee is nicely tucked in at the base of the Sacramento Mountains in the Chihuahuan Desert.

We returned to a state park we thoroughly enjoyed last spring & were greeted with a sea of little yellow flowers. One of the few state parks where rockhounds can collect rocks.
This State Park is the site where Francisco "Pancho" Villa's Mexican revolutionary attacked Columbus, NM and the historic Camp Furlong on March 9, 1916.
Our second visit to St Clair Winery via HarvestHost.com. Friendly folks here along with good wine!
"We went looking for music in the desert and we found it! Sideman Jamboree."

We’re back at SKP Saguaro Co-op (second visit within a month) for a fews day to regroup, stock up on groceries, do laundry, and of course visit with friends.
We love short drive days – Just 88 miles! Found ourselves back at Patagonia Lake State Park, a place we enjoyed last spring.
