We found a Harvest Hosts member that was actually a brewpub, and we tucked our coach in nicely on the large lot behind the pub. Good beers and dinner, just a short walk away.
Our first casino stop! We decide to check out Cher-Ae Heights Casino to see what overnight parking is like at a casino. Twenty dollars for three nights with potable water. Not bad.
This park is the most northern in a string of redwood parks that stretch up Northern California's coast. It contains seven percent of all the old-growth redwoods left in the world.

Found a unique RV park that overlooks the runway used for gliders. This 27 site park is very clean and quiet with very few guests—a great find.

Spacious private campground (4 sites) run by the community's property owners association for folks visiting members of the community. Very nice.
Found a Forest Service Campground that's still open. A lot shut down for the season in Sept/Oct. The campground is located on the Sacramento River just outside Red Bluff, CA.

A Forest Service Campground located on Eagle Lake outside Susanville. WE were delighted to find that this campground had hookups! Not common in Forest Service campgrounds.
