This "Central Oregon" section is new & experimental, so we not sure how it will play out. Hopefully we will be posting some of the local things we do on a regular basis, such as hiking, festivals, and other outdoor activities.
During the winter months we love to snowshoe & cross-country ski (on ungroomed trail of course) in the area. Below are photos & maps of the places we frequent.

Tam McArthur Rim Trail - July 27th, 2018
We took a drive up to Three Creeks Lake, Just north of Sisters, to check out the campgrounds today. Happened upon the Tam McArthur Rim trail and decided to take a hike. It was a great trail with lots of eye candy.
Steelhead Falls which is included in the Deschutes Canyon-Steelhead Falls Wilderness Study Area, was on the books for today.
The Old McKenzie Highway Loop - June 20th, 2018
